A Quick Note on Our Services:

Captain Ruddy operates as an independent private captain and instructor rather than a traditional sailing school or charter company.

 

Because of this, Ruddy does not own or provide vessels, and as an independent instructor, he cannot issue formal ASA certifications.

If crossing an official certificate off your list is your primary goal, Ruddy is more than happy to point you toward the best affiliate schools in the area to get you certified!

 

 

What you do get is the ultimate custom experience!

Two decades of professional maritime expertise and a genuine passion for helping you get the most out of your time on the water. With this private service, the client gets 100% of the captain's attention on their boat, at their pace, rather than being locked into a rigid class schedule on a stranger's vessel.
