Our Pricing

For local short yacht delivery within the area, our pricing starts at $90 per hour. Please note that this rate is subject to change based on various factors, including the size of the vessel, specific delivery requirements, and any additional services needed.

For multiple-day yacht deliveries or longer voyages, our pricing is typically structured on a per-day basis, ranging from $400 to $600 per day. The final price may vary depending on the complexity of the voyage, planning time and distance traveled. Additional fees may apply for travel expenses, crew , and provisions to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

A Quick Note on Our Services:

Captain Ruddy operates as an independent private captain and instructor rather than a traditional sailing school or charter company.

 

Because of this, Ruddy does not own or provide vessels, and as an independent instructor, he cannot issue formal ASA certifications.

If crossing an official certificate off your list is your primary goal, Ruddy is more than happy to point you toward the best affiliate schools in the area to get you certified!

 

 

What you do get is the ultimate custom experience!

With this private service, the client gets 100% of the captain's attention on their boat, at their pace, rather than being locked into a rigid class schedule on a stranger's vessel.
